We made more progress on pushing the kudzu and privet back around 7’s green, limbed up sight lines, cleaned up debris and litter, got some Tiger Lilly seeds from Jack White (thanks, Jack!), worked more on erosion control off the falls, cleaned up around pads, and more!

Vol day June 6, a week from today, 9 am to noon!

The war against invasive plants encroaching on fairways continues at Spring Park. Today we cut back quite a bit of bamboo, kudzu and pokeweed on Hole 6. The basket can now be seen from the tee.

Today’s course maintenance at Spring Park included filling the hole near the tee sign on 11 as well as more overgrowth clearing on 15 and 16.

We started trimming up the overgrowth on left side fairway mound of Hole 16 at Spring Park. We began in the most frequently hit area and are working our way around from there.

We have filled the hole in the fairway of hole 7. More plantings at the top of the waterfall as well as the Spring Park entrance sign by the tank. Things are filling in nicely.
