Last week, ShowPoints hosted its first booth at the Oklahoma City Summer Classic.

Over five days, we had conversations with exhibitors from conformation, agility, obedience, rally, scent work, Fast CAT and more.

One thing became very clear.

Many exhibitors aren't participating in just one type of event anymore.

They're showing in conformation on Saturday, running Fast CAT on Sunday, competing in scent work the following weekend, and trying to keep track of titles, results, entries, and progress across multiple websites, spreadsheets, Facebook groups, notebooks, and apps.

We heard this over and over again.

That's why one of the next major priorities for ShowPoints is expanding beyond conformation and Fast CAT results tracking to help exhibitors track titles, progress, and achievements across the sports they participate in.

The goal isn't to build another app.

The goal is to create a single place where exhibitors can follow their dogs' journey, regardless of which events they enjoy.

One of the most fun parts of building ShowPoints has been expanding beyond conformation and into other dog sports communities.

Today, Royale, our Schipperke, tried Fast CAT for the very first time and had an absolute blast flying down the course at 16.29 mph.

We also got to use the Fast CAT tracking feature inside the app exactly the way it was intended, logging runs, tracking points, monitoring fastest speed, and following progress toward titles all in one place.

Huge thank you to the 405 Fast CAT Club in Chandler and the Oklahoma City Obedience Club for hosting such a welcoming and well-run event. We met so many kind people and had a great experience from start to finish.

Fast CAT tracking is now live inside ShowPoints as we continue building tools for more areas of the dog sports world. 🐾

We’re getting excited for the Oklahoma Summer Classic from May 25-31 in OKC.

ShowPoints will have a booth at the show all weekend and we’d love for you to stop by and say hello.

We’ll be demoing the app, talking about upcoming features, and sharing more about what we’re building for the dog show community.

We’ll also have copies of More Than a Ribbon available at the booth.

Remy won’t be making the trip, but Kermit the Dog will definitely be there helping represent the team. 🐾
