My apologies for not updating!!!
It appears she had a late term reabsorption that led to a false labor period. She has now fully recovered and been returned to her sorority of sisters 😊

This momma has me worried 😣 She’s been in pre labor for over 12 hours and is possibly as much as 25 days overdue!
Though it’s more likely I simply misremembered the day I discovered her in the boys cage 😖
I’d just had a second spinal surgery in a months time and was heavily medicated.
I know I wrote it down somewhere but now I can’t remember where that is 🤦🏼♀️ These last two months have been continuous chaos, and I can only remember maybe 40% of the details.
So if it’s a small litter and I took her out (or more accurately had my husband get her out as I cant bend until the 18th) on Thursday and not Tuesday as I’d thought originally, she’s only at day 24.
If my hospital stay hadn’t eaten through all savings and back up plans I had financially, she’d be at the vet already 😢
I’m losing hope for a safe delivery and out of options 😢
These last two months of hell seem to be continuing into a third 😩

For those of us that constantly doubt ourselves, from years of medical gaslighting… This mantra can be a reminder that regardless of who you are, or what you look like, you are worthy of respect and care from a system that should be doing better.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been told it’s in my head, or that I need to lose weight, or even outright ignored and apathetically denied proper medical care.
But as of this week I have found a good doctor who is not an obstacle, but an ally. A doctor who listens to me about my own body and BELIEVES me! Her quick thinking and actual testing has me closer to a diagnosis than I’ve ever been.
She shows me there Is hope, but also that we need to start treating bad doctors like toxic relationships, and cut them out of our lives.
We are paying their paycheck, so if theyre not doing their job my advice is simply move on. No amount of pleading, research, or compilations of symptoms and tests in a binder will make a bad doctor care. Trust me.
Dont waste years on people who don’t want to help, let them feel it in the one place they care about, their wallet and public image.

P.s. If you need to talk I’m here, i know the struggle and even if I don’t i can still offer an empathetic ear and help you feel seen. That is at least by a crazy rat lady on the internet 😂

These boys went to their Fur-ever home today!!!! Congrats to the very rat care oriented young lady who is clearly already smitten! 😍
Ghost (agouti Berkshire) was one of the hand reared babies, and is oh so sweet and loving!
Frost (grey capped) LOVES a good head scratch but is not such a huge fan of being removed from the cage unless HE climbs on YOU 😂 definitely full diva mode with this little squeaky boy!
I wish both these boys and their new humans the best in life and hope to see updates!
If you’re wondering if I have any left available I do! I have 10 boys still waiting for their new best friend 7 of the 10 hand reared from 10 days old.
They’re oh so sweet even if three of them have a bit of a dramatic streak. But with just a little patience, a gentle heart, and gentle hands they will warm to you quickly!

Adoption Process
Ready to bring home a new companion? Here’s how our adoption process works:
Reach Out
1.Start by contacting us with a little information about yourself and what you’re looking for in a rat companion. We’ll use this to help match you with rats that fit your needs and experience level.
2.Meet the Rats (Virtually)
Once we’ve reviewed your info and helped guide you toward the right litter or group, we’ll send you photos and videos of the available rats. You’ll be able to see their personalities, temperaments, and development before making a decision.
3.Reservations (For Rats Not Yet Ready)
SEE WEBSITE FOR RESERVATION FEE. Once reserved, those rats will be marked as yours, and we’ll keep you updated on their growth and milestones until they’re ready to leave the nest.
4.Immediate Adoptions (If Rats Are Ready)
If the rats you select are old enough to go home, we’ll set a pickup date and time. Payment is due in full at pickup—no reservation payment needed.
5.Final Pickup & Going Home
When the time comes, you’ll pick up your new rats in person. We’ll give you any remaining guidance, records, and care tips so you can start your journey together with confidence.

My three hand raised girls, still available and oh so sweet!!! I swear I’d keep them all if I could 😭
See my website for details, though I’m aware it needs an update the adoption process is up to date 😊
Miss Thora, how we adore her!
So while I was in the hospital my husband accidentally returned a rat I was isolating to the wrong cage. I didn’t discover this until the Wednesday after I was released (2 days after my week long hospitalization) and she’s now on lock down until we know if there are beans incoming or not! All signs currently point to yes 🤦🏼♀️ unplanned pregnancies are always stressful
The boys have so much love to give!!!
