Celebrated Banks’ First Birthday a few weeks ago and of course I had to go all out for his invitation! 🤑 The theme was “Banks’ 1st Loan” so the invite was designed to look like an old bank note 💰💵 I even turned a playhouse into a “Bank” and designed signage for it 🙈

Slowly coming back from maternity leave and learning how to work with my cute little design assistant. It’s a lot harder than I expected though and it feels like as soon as I get a good rhythm going, my coworker goes on strike 🤣 ⁣

Give me all your tips for working from home with a baby!! 👶🏻🍼

Southern Noble got a new team member last month! 👶🏻 Mr. Banks Urban Puthoff only works at night and takes multiple lunch breaks so we need to have a little talk about his productivity but he’s cute so I think we’ll keep him around 😉

Business cards don’t have to be boring! 💁🏻‍♀️ One of my favorite ways to help you make a statement is by creating interesting marketing materials that are sure to catch someone’s eye. Whether it’s by using a unique shape, cool printing finishes (like the wooden business cards I created for a local fence company), or fun layouts, there are so many ways to set yourself apart!

Unused logo concept that I loooved! 💜 At first glance the brand mark may just seem like shapes and lines put together but it actually symbolizes a few different things… 1. It’s a modern take on ancient fertility symbols. 2. The crossed lines not only represent a “P” for Plum but an infinity symbol for the connection egg donors and intended parents share with each other. 3. The dot in the center of course represents an egg. There’s always intention behind every design decision, even if it’s not always obvious!

Content is the Queen of growth! 👑 Whether it’s blogging, creating videos, recording podcasts, or sharing on social media, creating content is so important for your brand. Not only does it help with SEO but it can also lead to amazing opportunities for your business. Take my lovely client/friend as an example - when she started sharing all of her awesome wedding advice on her blog, the industry took notice. ⁣

She was able to collaborate with big wedding brands like Zola, start working with one of the biggest influencer marketing platforms .it and has been recognized for her work as a top wedding planner by multiple publications such as⁣

And it all started with her blog. 🤗 Soooo if you’re looking for ways to connect with your audience try creating some content!!

Come take a shot with us and listen to our new podcast! 🎤🥃⁣

Michelle and I created the Double Shot of Branding podcast to share the good and bad of running your own business. And of course all things branding, web design, and marketing! (But sorry no “how to make 6-figures” episodes here 🤣)⁣

Michelle is a coffee, bourbon loving brand and Squarespace/Showit web designer who is the perfect opposite to my more creamer than coffee, pineapple rum loving self. We’re having so much fun working together and hope you guys enjoy our tips and upcoming episodes!!! ⁣

Go give our new IG account a follow and stay tuned for our first episode launching soon! 🎉

Did you know that creating a personal brand separate from your work place gives you 2x the marketing potential?! 💥 For example if you’re a realtor, instead of just sharing a listing link or photo of a home with “for sale/sold” on social media, you could have an entire website to promote your listings! It gives you the opportunity to share more about your skills, unique process, and create your own content - Something you don’t always get the chance to do on your company’s website. 💁🏻‍♀️ You can create blog posts of your listings with more personal descriptions of the home and include those video walk throughs you posted on Insta Stories for longer than 24hrs. Blogging about real estate trends for your area or buying/selling tips is also another great way to grow your customer base and establish yourself as an expert. Having your own brand and website is such a great marketing tool and helps you set yourself apart from the competition - including your own coworkers! 😜
