Yondr Studio is the illustration and design studio of Nathan Yoder, located in Edmonds, WA.
I was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and raised in a small rural town just northeast of there. In the 8th grade, an invitation to draw t-shirt designs for a local screenprinter was my introduction into the world of design. Growing up, I would often go hunting with friends and I always enjoyed seeing how active things got once you had settled in to your spot. The forest/field, wherever we were, would come alive once we had settled in and been quiet for a while. The hunt was exciting but I always wished that I had my sketch book with me in those moments.
I was often thinking back on those early hunting trips while working on this project—a series of spot illustrations completed for a hunting app a few years back.
