This week, we’re highlighting Jenkins Junk Removal, owned and operated by Mitch Jenkins!

Mitch was born and raised right here in Glenpool, Oklahoma. After moving to Oklahoma City in 2005, he eventually made his way back home to Glenpool in 2024 after meeting his wife. ❤️

The idea for Jenkins Junk Removal actually came from Mitch’s own experience as a warehouse manager. While in OKC, he regularly used a junk removal service to keep his warehouses cleared out and organized. He enjoyed the physical, hands-on nature of the work, picked the owner’s brain about the industry, and eventually decided to build a junk removal business of his own.

Jenkins Junk Removal got its start last June and celebrated its first full year in business on June 1, 2026! They’re still a small operation with one truck and trailer—which means when you call Jenkins, you’re supporting a genuinely local, owner-operated business that’s being built from the ground up.
