South Tulsa Early Learning Program

So thankful for our teacher appreciation committee for spoiling our teachers this past week!

ELP has been busy this week, celebrating the birth of Christ! Our Friday students today got to visit Mary in Bethlehem, and she told us all about the special time when Jesus was born.

ELP had our first day of school last Thursday! We are happy to have so many returning students and so many new faces! We are looking forward to a wonderful school year!

Our PreKA class had a beautiful day exploring Philbrook Museum, both inside and out!

We had our last Chapel of the year today! Thanks to Julie DeYoung our new Minister to Families with Preschoolers for talking with our students about Easter!

Groovy lunch for Teacher Appreciation Week! Thanks again to all who donated!

Our Teacher Appreciation Committee organized a “groovy” breakfast and Sonic drinks for all our teachers on Tuesday! Thanks to all who donated! We are looking forward to a yummy lunch tomorrow!

Community Helper Month at ELP! Thanks to our local firefighters and police officers for visiting us this month and teaching us about safety!

Though conditions have improved throughout Tulsa, there are still hazardous areas on neighborhood streets and on our church campus. Due to safety concerns for our teachers and families we will cancel classes at ELP for tomorrow, Friday, February 21.
