This home session was a blast! One reason they work so well especially with kids, is it’s a space they are comfy at. So they warm up to the camera a lot faster than a new environment with a strange person taking photos!

I love capturing the season you are in, maybe that’s a toddler that keeps running off, maybe your teenager won’t smile.. whatever it is you’ll look back and laugh remembering each stage of life!

It’s fun to start sessions doing something unexpected. I always ask kids if they want to climb a tree or pick the first spot. It helps them take ownership and enjoy photos instead of feeling like they have to take them.

Loved this engagement session, although the WIND was just about as bad as last weeks wind storm! But we still managed to get some stunning images!
