In the book Start With Why, Simon Sinek discusses the importance of knowing your “why” — the core belief that drives your business. It’s what sets you apart and connects you emotionally with your audience, yet it’s something we often forget.

Sinek’s premise is basically this: you need to know why you’re in business — and talk about it. When a company has a strong motivation and that motivation shines through, people will follow. “Why” brands are stronger because the underlying motivation is aligned with your own core values and beliefs.

Here is a great template to use to discover your “why”:
