August 19 is the perfect combination of celebrations for us — it’s World Photography Day, National Aviation Day, and Oklahoma Aviation & Aerospace Day. 📸✈️✨ It’s an exciting time to be part of aviation and aerospace in Oklahoma and we’re honored to have the opportunity to document and share some of those stories, with a huge project and announcement dropping in October. We’re excited to be part of the planning team for an upcoming professional development program specifically designed for museum professionals who have recently stepped into executive or senior leadership roles at small and mid-sized museums. 🌟 The application deadline is Monday, August 31. 🌟 Please apply and share with others who might benefit from this network and resources!

Presented by the Oklahoma Museums Association and Mountain-Plains Museums Association, LEAD — Leadership, Engagement, Advocacy and Development — will bring together a cohort of 30 museum professionals from across the Mountain-Plains region (OK, TX, NM, KS, CO, NE, WY, SD, ND, MT) for a virtual institute February 2–3, 2027.

This could be a great opportunity for you or someone on your team if you:
- Work at a small or mid-sized museum, typically with 3–10 staff members
- Serve in an executive or senior leadership role
- Have fewer than three years of executive leadership experience
- Want practical training, resources and connections to help you grow as a museum leader

Selected participants will receive free participation in the institute, complimentary MPMA membership, access to digital leadership modules, a certificate of completion and, perhaps most importantly, the opportunity to build relationships with a peer network of emerging museum leaders.

Another incredible AERO Oklahoma event is the books thanks to the fantastic team at the Oklahoma Department of Aerospace and Aeronautics! The rotunda of the Oklahoma State Capitol was teeming with aviation and aerospace professionals, vendors, students, and enthusiasts, along with legislators and other officials -- all gathered in support of our state's second largest and fastest growing industry.

It was an exciting day of learning, networking, and celebrating the great opportunities available throughout Oklahoma, and we are always honored to help document and share those stories.

Last week marked something big for us—our first official shoot in the new Narrative Structure studio! ✨

Joe and Heather, hosts of "The Professor and Heather Anne", joined us to create updated branding images for their podcast, with styling by Kristy DeBoer (KEDstyled.com) and makeup by Genesis (IG - facedxgenesis). It was exactly the kind of session we aim for—bringing together the right team, thoughtful collaboration, and intentional preparation, all guided by expert expression coaching to help people feel comfortable, confident, and authentically themselves in the images we create.

We're excited to welcome you to our new headquarters just south of downtown Tulsa in SOBO, next door to The Brut Hotel. It's a building with quite a history of its own, and one where we're focused on story—creating new imagery and preserving all types of existing media.

Once in a while, you're fortunate enough to cross paths with someone who dramatically changes your life for the better. One of those people for us is Robert Trawick.

We're far from alone in declaring our love and admiration of the guy because he thrives when he's teaching and helping others. There are many, MANY Robert stories, but today we'll keep it simple and just say, Happy Birthday, Robert. 🎉 We love you lots and lots!
