🐷Work in progress / current mood, I guess?🐷 It’s been a while since I last picked up the stylus, and it shows. Re-learning to just trust the process has certainly been the hardest part.

🌵New shop, new website🌵 I finally finished building my site back up from scratch and moving part of my inventory over to Etsy, so I suppose it's about time for an overdue post. Pictured is one of my kokedama vessels with a peanut cactus and string of hearts plant, available now in the shop. Info in bio ~

🎀Princess Bully🎀 A big thanks to everyone who stopped by my booth during last weekend. The French bulldog seemed like a natural pick for the event’s unofficial animal mascot, so… here you go. So cute!

🌱New compostable kokedama vessel🌱 Unlike my PLA creations, this PHA container will break down fully and harmlessly in ambient conditions after a few years, making it perfect for non-epiphytic plants that may benefit from eventual repotting. I also really like the color and slightly supple consistency of the filament I used from - and it was so easy to print!
The first round of PHA vessels will debut at . Until then, purchase information can be obtained by DM.

🐇🌑Solar Eclipse/Black Bunny🌑🐇 We got to see a near-total eclipse in Tulsa today, with just the thinnest sliver of sun appearing to the right of the moon. Personally, my favorite part was the rainbow corona that appeared just as the eclipse reached totality.

🐍🐢 Backstage at the .fashion.alliance season 3 runway show with and as Water Snake and Snapping Turtle. We had an incredible turnout last night, and the presentation was flawless! A huge thanks to and for totally nailing the perfect hair and makeup to complete these looks -- I truly could not be happier with how everything turned out.

🐉Year of the Dragon🐉 I didn’t get started on this until the actual day of the lunar new year, and I think it might be too late for it to still be yesterday somewhere in the world… but oh well. To all of you who celebrated, I wish you a wonderful new year.

🐢Look 2 Mock-up 🐢 for the coming year’s show with .fashion.alliance . I finally found a cheap styrofoam dress form, which is making my life so much easier right now. There’s a lot that still has to come together for this design, but I’m just so happy with how the process is moving along at the moment.

The holidays are on at today. Come on by and grab yourself a beer! Local artists will have booths set up until 2 pm.

🍑Diospyros virginiana🍑 aka the common persimmon, North America’s tastiest autumn fruit. They’re pretty ugly compared to their larger East Asian counterparts, but they make up for it by tasting like rum-raisin ice cream with butterscotch on top — but only once they’re ripe enough to fall off the tree. They’re also very common throughout most of the contiguous United States, so keep a lookout for a tree with blocky bark and little, wrinkled fruits. You could very well have one in your back yard.

💅🪲Nail pair display stand🪲💅modeled after the European rose chafer. I’ll probably make a sturdier version for the smaller nail sizes, plus different designs to suit the various lengths. I’m pretty happy with how this turned out for the medium coffin nails, though.
