SMALLLACES partnered with 1percent24Hrs and nonprofit organization Bridges of Faith. Hosting a free youth basketball day camp focused on skill development, mentorship, and community connection. The camp provides young athletes with hands on basketball demonstrations, movement and fundamentals training, and positive guidance in a supportive environment.

Through this collaboration, the partners worked together to remove financial barriers, encourage confidence, and create a safe space where youth could learn, grow, and be inspired both on and off the court.

Delarente and Kavon display a remarkable work ethic and unwavering determination in their pursuit of playing overseas. Beyond their performance on the court, they are exceptional fathers and role models to the youth who genuinely look up to them and learn from their mentoring.
As their trainer, I consider myself a fly on the wall. The leadership they bring daily is organic, and empowering to witness. They set the standard through action, discipline, and accountability.
Together, they dominate the competition in the ABA semi-professional league and continue to earn opportunities to play basketball overseas. Their approach reflects what it truly means to persevere.

What began as a hobby has grown into a business SMALLLACES LLC grassroots developed here in Tulsa. Basketball is more than a sport to us it’s a connection to being discipline. This is pathway to building confidence, character, and community.

In April, I had the opportunity to partner with TheZone at KIPP Middle School, and it was a truly rewarding experience. The students were engaged, focused, and eager to learn. With basketball season underway, I look forward to seeing them apply the skills and discipline they developed throughout our training.
