Meet Keep On Zenning, an art therapy and counseling business led by the incredible Angela Daniels-Valenzuela - and CIC’s newest loan recipient! 🌟
Angela is a board-certified art therapist with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to providing art therapy and counseling to children and adults of all ages. She saw a critical need for accessible mental health support during the COVID-19 pandemic and launched her virtual counseling practice. Over time, she has grown her business from virtual-only services having her own in-person office in Tucson.
In a field where BIPOC therapists are underrepresented, Angela fosters a safe, culturally inclusive space for her clients. She is committed to breaking the stigma around mental health, particularly in communities of color, by offering art therapy as a meaningful way for individuals to express themselves and heal. Through art, her clientele can explore issues that are difficult to express in traditional talk therapy, to positively enhance their lives.
You can find out more about her business here: https://www.keeponzenning.com
We are honored to support Angela’s journey with funding to help scale her business and expand her reach. Join us in celebrating her success! 👏
