When I first dreamed about creating Learn & Play, I hoped to build more than just a camp. I hoped to build a community, one where children feel safe, seen, encouraged, included, and free to simply be kids. Looking at this amazing team, I truly feel like that dream is coming to life.

Each person on our team brings something unique and meaningful to Learn & Play. From creativity, leadership, and humor, to patience, athletics, kindness, and nurturing care, every staff member helps create the magic that our campers experience each day. Watching everyone connect with the children in their own special way has honestly been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

I’m so grateful for a team that shows up with love, flexibility, and genuine care for kids. These are the people helping campers make friendships, build confidence, try new things, laugh harder, and create memories they’ll carry with them long after summer ends. ☀️🌈

As the owner and founder of Learn & Play, I don’t take this support lightly. I’m excited not only to lead alongside this team, but to continue learning and growing with each of them too. We are building something beautiful together, and I’m incredibly thankful for every single person who said “yes” to being part of this community.

Superhero Summer Camp is off to an exciting start! We’ve already enjoyed water play, superhero missions, group games, creative activities, and so much more! It has been amazing watching new friendships grow and blossom as campers build confidence, teamwork, and fun memories together.

There’s still so much more excitement to come this summer, and we still have a few spots available for Week Two!

After a successful afterschool Spring 2026 enrichment season with Oakhurst Cooperative Preschool in Decatur, GA, Learn & Play with Ms. Shay is evolving this Fall 2026! ✨

Introducing Imagination Creations — a collaborative afterschool enrichment experience for children ages 3–6 focused on imaginative play, executive functioning, higher-order thinking, sensory exploration, creativity, and social-emotional growth.

Children will create, explore, build, problem-solve, and connect through meaningful imaginative experiences designed to support the whole child in a calm and engaging environment. 🌎🎨🧠

Learn & Play is excited to begin partnering with more schools and community programs this fall!

Today was so special. 💕

A huge thank you to Sheltering Arms for allowing Learn & Play with Ms. Shay to host our Mother’s Day Diaper Giveaway. We are so grateful for the opportunity to love on families in the community in such a meaningful way.

As a mom myself, I know diapers are not just a small necessity — they are a major expense for many families. Something as simple as a pack of diapers can bring relief, comfort, and support to a parent trying their best each day.

Seeing families smile today reminded me why community matters so much. Thank you to every mama who came, every family who trusted us, and everyone who helped make this possible. 💐
