My Dearest Darling Guests,

After fourteen beautiful years of styling hair, my journey here must come to a close. Luke, the boys and I are embarking on our newest adventure to start a small homestead in Missouri.

My small business would not be what it is today without your love and support. You were never just a paycheck, just a haircut, or color, you have been like family to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to be a part of your lives.

I placed your veil, and helped calm your nerves as you waited to walk
down the isle, on one of your biggest special days.

I have shaved your heads for weekly work, losing bets, or when your team went to state. I was there to cover you in prayer as I shaved your lovely locks for your first rounds of chemo. I was there to celebrate when your sweet little fluffy curls started to come back!

Behind the chair I watch your smile and tears as your child goes through
all their last of senior year. Your swelling pride as they embark on their new journey.

I see you worry if your child is doing too much, too fast, too soon. I see you celebrate in their victories when they win first pace, take their first steps, hold their GPA, buy their first house, or birth your grand babies!

You are not just my job, I take pieces of you wherever I go. Thinking of a new style. Practicing makeup for the day you’re giving your crown away. Whispering a prayer as I remember your father is about to pass. Hoping you get the house you put a bid on. Excitedly waiting to see if you have big news next time you come to visit! See... visit. You have never been just a customer but guests in my heart and home.
