These nights always remind us of home.
Chef Elisabetta spent the evening serving fresh spaghetti alla chitarra with Bolognese, bringing a little piece of real Italy to Troy once again. There is something special about seeing strangers become friends over a shared table, a glass of wine, and a plate of pasta.
And because no Italian meal is complete without something sweet, Chef Roberta surprised everyone with cannoli to end the night!
To everyone who joined us, thank you for filling our backyard with laughter, conversation, and the kind of energy that makes these events so memorable.

Join us for Michigan’s Longest Pasta Table — a communal outdoor dinner celebrating great food, wine, family, and community.
We’re transforming our parking lot into one giant Italian-style dinner table for a special Father’s Day celebration(because dads deserve pasta!).

For this tagliata, I wanted something that felt balanced but still full of flavor. Perfectly sliced steak, crispy oven roasted potatoes, a fresh garden salad, and small drops of mango sauce to brighten the whole dish and bring a subtle sweetness to every bite ✨

Think pasta medallions, not tortellini — each one hand-filled with grouper and sitting pretty on a silky pistachio cream. Finished with crushed pistachios for that little crunch moment you didn’t know you needed ✨

So many of you have been asking for years… and I’m finally able to say it, we’re doing pizza!!!! 🍕
Starting April 29th, every Wednesday from 5–9 PM, we’ll be serving our pizzas at
Same Cucina Lab way of working: Italian flour, clean ingredients, nothing complicated—just really good pizza made with care.
Come eat it there with a glass of wine, or take it home for a cozy night in!
