I love rainy days.

They remind me that the sun will come back out again. Might not be as soon as I want, but it will appear again.

There's sunshine after every storm - just hang on. 🌞

I am in my element when I embrace myself for the glorious mess I am. Flaws make us human so I accept my flaws just as much as the positives. It took me a long time to just be me again. . .and now I remember what an amazing human being I'm capable of being when sober.

No one else walks in my shoes so their opinions don't matter. If they did try to live a day in my shoes, they'd stumble within the first hour. Guaranteed. ❤

I hit 1,000 days sober yesterday.

By the grace of my higher power and my own will I did it.

Sometimes it was one minute at a time, one hour at a time, THEN one day at a time.

It didn't even feel real until I was getting ready for bed. 😂 🙏 💜
