And that’s the wrap of another semester! This is for the theme of science/spirituality and while I love this piece, it is definitely the prototype for something much bigger and more elaborate and maybe needle felted!

For the theme of time and memory in class I made this piece around my childhood stuffed animal named Gee. I was very blown away after finding a picture of what he looked like ( second pic) when I first got him over 32 years ago and how much I worn him down using him for comfort by rubbing fur and I’ve always been embarrassed about him so it was hard to put him out there, but here he is for the world to see! Thank you for getting me through my childhood, Gee. 🖤 we will be buried together lol

Instead of writing an 8 page research paper, I got to make an art piece for my Italian Renaissance class 😅

I haven’t been posting my projects for this semester! This piece is for the place/language theme and talks about our disconnection from nature and our place in it. As a society we are constantly at war with nature instead of living harmoniously with it. These were taken along Stony Run in Hampden where you can see our battle against erosion along the streams edge.
