Anyway, I was able to snap a quick picture of the elusive Sassy. She is pictured here contemplating her choices: stir up trouble in the front area, back area, or all of the above... Guess which one she chose. That's right "all of the above.

Come in and see if you can spot her. She is shy and tends to run when customers come in. Every now and again, she gets brave.

Good morning! Welcome to Friday Eve. It is my second favorite day of the week.

We hope everyone is having at least a tolerable week. The weather has been rather disrespectful, but it seems it will be calming down. The weekend forecast looks much more acceptable.

Today, I want to feature our backflow incense burners. We have a couple of different models in stock at this time. The baby dragon has lights for even more cool effects.

As you can see, we also carry a variety of back flow incense cones. In order to make the backflow burners work properly, you must use backflow cones. These cones look slightly different than traditional ones.

Hello everyone! Sorry for missing a few days of posting. I want to take a few moments to reintroduce The Willow's proprietors (and a couple of "volunteers").

First up is Bert. He is an OG proprietor. He and his friend started the Enchanted Willow over 20 years ago. There have been some changes over the years and eleven years ago, the store landed in its current location. Bert has lots of knowledge about items you might need as you continue on or explore a new path.

Ken is the other proprietor. He began his journey when the store moved to this location. He has been an integral part of bring the store to its current level. He believes in bringing customers the very best pricing. We know everything is expensive these days. We hope to make your ability to obtain the items needed for your rituals and other celebrations as affordable as possible.

Now, our volunteers. A set of "twisted" sisters, also known as Sisters of Snarkasm. You can find their work in the shop. Tie dye, candles, jewelry, and other fun things. Come in and see what they have "cooked up" in the creative cauldron.

Sisters of Snarkasm is comprised of Kelly, Ken's wife. That is yours truly. I have been providing the posts most days. I am glad to meet all of you and look forward to meeting many more as we go.

Heather is the other twisted sister. She is my sister and roommate (send out positive vibes for Ken...he is stuck with us). She and I not only help by creating fun things for the shop. We go out to the festivals we still attend.

Meanwhile, we have lots of herbs for your kitchen and/or spell needs. We also have books to help you learn about the various properties of the herbs.

As we move toward fall and winter, it might be a good idea to pick up some herbs that help ease chest and sinus congestion. Mullein and comfrey are two examples. We can benefit from both Eastern and Western medicine. Just remember to read up on any herbs you decide to use, especially if you are taking prescription medications.

Some herbs do not mix well with certain medications. If you decide to start using herbs to help improve your health, please be sure to let your primary doctor know. This helps the provider know if a medication they prescribe will cause big problems.

Knowledge is power. Herbs can be overwhelming, but once you understand how they can help, you will be amazed at what they have to offer.

Hello and welcome to the storm cleanup edition of Friday Eve. We are all safe, but there were lots of branches and trees down in the neighborhoods around our homes and the shop. We hope all of you are safe.

We want to touch base about a couple things. The first item is our readers. We have two who work out of our shop, Emily and Julie. Please call the shop to schedule. Jo Flowers reads from her home but asks that payments be left at The Willow. You will need to contact Jo to schedule with her. We will be working to get the August schedule for the readers who are at the The Enchanted Willow, Topeka KS posted on our page.

The second item to discuss is our lack of an online store. We are working on creating one. We are not terribly tech-savvy so the process is arduous. In the meantime, please call the store or utilize Messenger to inquire about products. We look forward to talking to everyone. Sending love and light always.

Hello everyone! Welcome to a new week. The weather is going to be beastly, so please check in on each other. If you must be outside, take breaks and drink plenty of fluids. Try to alternate an electrolyte replacement beverage with your water.

Remember to provide plenty of water and shade for your fur babies. This is Little Tom. He is part of a small colony we help care for. One of our neighbors helps as well. We all make sure there is plenty of water available. Most of them are feral, but this guy enjoys a few scritches now and then.
