Greetings from Scottsbluff, Nebraska

I got to go to Lincoln, Nebraska to meet Matt, the groom of Kaitlin, who hired me from a church shoot in Alton, IL. Where I was taking her portrait last summer. If you are looking for beauty in Lincoln the Sunken Gardens were such a peaceful place in the middle of the city. Truly. These are her parents wedding pictures we're going to emulate which I thought was soooo cute. Then, on the way back, when I was stuck in traffic in Rural Kansas, I notice the semi truck in front of me reflecting the sky. And thought I'd share that beauty!

Today I photographed the mother of a recent client. She said such heart warming things like "My daughter is never girlie. And you brought out her woman." And that she felt so beautiful and I helped her feel comfortable , in heels even. That she always wears sweats and comfy clothes. That she had such a great time. She explained how it was a healing experience for her. And THAT is the stuff a portrait photographer lives for! I'm so grateful for my gifts and tools to be able to do this job. 💛🙏💛🙏
