How do I pay for eggs???
Although I am currently not charging for eggs, several people have inquired. I would accept donations if egg recipients feel so inclined.
Any amount, no amount it’s all fine as I just want to share my abundance with others.
Donations can be cash in person at pickup or here are my payment apps.
I was able to share 54 eggs with friends and family over the weekend! Makes me happy others will get to enjoy our abundance!

How much do the eggs cost???
I don’t have plans to sell eggs right now. I just want them to be enjoyed so there is no cost at this time.
You can save your egg cartons for me to reuse and monetary donations will be accepted.
Why don’t I wash my eggs? The bloom of course!

What’s the float test? To test the freshness of the eggs you get from Diana’s Backyard Chicken Eggs, add them to a bowl of water and see if they float. If they float completely, they are not good to eat.
Details for eggs you get from Diana’s Backyard Chicken eggs:
1. I do not wash the eggs before they get to you. The way I keep my chickens might make the eggs messy at times, epically if the weather has been wet.
2. Utilize best practices for handwashing when handling unwashed eggs.
3. Only wash eggs when you are ready to use them. They will last longer if you wait to wash them until ready to use.
4. To wash, run them under warm/hot water and rub gently to get any debris off the shell. A soft bristle brush may also be used if needed.
5. Egg size varies because I have three different breeds of chickens.
6. I am not running a business for chicken egg sales. These eggs are not commercially processed and will have “defects” that store bought eggs do not have. These are real eggs from real chickens living their best lives in my backyard.
7. If you question egg freshness, do the float test before cracking.
8. I do not have any roosters so none of the eggs you get from me will be fertilized and therefore will never produce a chicken. Eggs from me are for eating only.
Hey there! Welcome to the page where I offer up my extra chicken eggs so they don’t go bad before someone gets to enjoy them.
