✨ Many inspiring leaders have helped shape Toastmasters International over the years, including Helen Blanchard, DTM, who served as International President from 1985-1986. 💫 Her leadership continues to inspire us as we celebrate 100 years of Toastmasters!

To celebrate our club's Select Distinguished status for the 2023-2024 Toastmaster year, we held an ice cream social! We were joined by our Area Director Shed Mayberry III and Division T Director Jia Tong Lynch. Family members joined in our celebration of individual Pathways level achievements from the last year!
It was wonderful to get to introduce our fellow members to those folks we've told so many stories about during Table Topics and to introduce our families to the Toastmasters folks we talk about on Thursdays after meetings.
Heartland Toastmasters will not be meeting this week - stay tuned for future meetings!
We will not be meeting next Thursday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. We hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday! We'll see you the following Thursday at Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library for our Public Speaking & Leadership Meeting.

Recently, Toastmasters helped me prepare for the biggest speech of my life. I love our club and I'm grateful for the impact Toastmasters has made on me as a speaker."
