Zach was in sociology class last week and they were discussing poverty. A man spoke up about this carnival he's been attending for the past four years at the Rescue Mission. He went on to say that even though he's not homeless he's been attending because his family is limited on resources and its an event that offers his children a day relax. How amazing is that?
Big things are in our future. We are in the process of re-branding our website and creating new resources for teens across the country so that everyone can be inspired to stand up and take action.
Thank you for liking our page.
This is some pretty cool news. CVS announced yesterday that they will no longer be selling ci******es. The CEO said "Put simply, the sale of to***co products is inconsistent with our purpose."
Did you know ci******es aren't just bad for your health? They can destroy our environment, compromise air quality, litter our parks, exacerbate poverty and the list goes on!
This Super Bowl Stat is something you've probably never heard about.

Attorney General: Super Bowl Is Largest Human Trafficking Incident In U.S. When it came time for the Super Bowl, Clemmie Greenlee was expected to sleep with anywhere from 25 to 50 men a day. It’s a staggering figure, but it doesn’t shock advocates who say that the sporting event attracts more traffickers than any other in the U.S.

This hits very close to home. Teens when you hear something like this, make sure to let your administration know.

Did you know the average school district with 4 elementary schools, 1 middle and 1 high school uses over 520,000 plastic milk bottles in just one school year. Shouldn't schools implement a recycle program if they don't already have one?
