SGS Magic Jennings showed up to compete at the D1 Super Select Summer Showcase this weekend in North Ridgeville OH.

We will be back in action 6/26 at the Grand Slam Showcase in Findlay, OH. We are currently looking to add a 3rd pitcher to our rotation - contact Coach Krista ([email protected]) for subbing opportunities / private tryout for the remainder of the summer.

The SGS Magic McNellis 11u team had a stellar weekend at the Summer Bash in Coldwater, Michigan. In pool play, the girls went 3-0, outscoring opponents 29-2. Our bats came alive and pitching was on 🔥, with pitchers allowing only 5 hits in three games!! The girls earned the #2 seed, but unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and washed out bracket play on Sunday.

In our down time, the families and players bonded with a team cookout and water activities on a lake. Great weekend, Magic! The girls will return to the field next weekend in Bryan, Ohio. 💙🥎❤️✨

SGS Magic 9u Hall battled hard this weekend finishing 2-2 earning the #1 seed in their pool. While our bracket play ended earlier than we hoped against a very talented Michigan Arsenal team that came out swinging the bats & who ended up in the Championship game before the rain came, we are proud of the way the girls competed and never gave up!

HUGE highlights of the tournament were celebrating two incredible pitching milestones this weekend:

Team dinner after a great day at the Chaos Summer Showcase!

After picking up two big wins, SGS Magic 18u - Vischer took some time to enjoy a team dinner filled with lots of laughs, great food, and even better company.

Shoutout to KJ, who celebrated her birthday with the team and has been absolutely on fire at the plate—launching 3 home runs in 3 games! 💣💣💣 What a way to celebrate!

SGS Magic McNellis 11u played in the TuneUp last weekend. While game results were not entirely in our favor, the girls had some great moments and big hits along the way. Two of our losses ended in a one run deficit to two polished, older teams who both complimented our players on their talent level for being a much younger 11u team. At times our girls are playing competition that is two grade years older than they are. One of the best moments of the weekend came from playing our older sister team, SGS Magic Stark 12u. The girls battled on the field and then came together afterward for handshakes, hugs, and a group picture. There were times over the weekend both teams could be seen in the bleachers rooting each other on! We will keep working and grinding and will be back in action this weekend in Coldwater, Michigan.
