Something for Alex

Enjoyed meeting with Cleve and Christina from 88.3 WAFJ Joy FM today while enjoying a cool treat from Pelican’s Snoballs.

Today, Something for Alex installed our 6th Blessing Box and our first in Burke County!

This also marks our third Blessing Box built in partnership with Heart Wood Products, LLC. We cannot say thank you enough to Josh and his team. Their generosity, craftsmanship, and belief in our mission have helped take the Blessing Box program to places we never imagined. The growth of this project across the CSRA has been made possible because of partners like Heart Wood Products who continue to say "yes" to serving others.

This new location and partnership were made possible through Margaret Newton and Pastor Keith Cox. The Blessing Box is now available to provide free food, hygiene items, and other essentials to anyone in need.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the 2026 Become a Fan Drive collected 263 fans for local families in need this summer!

Even more amazing, over the past 8 Become a Fan Drives, our community has donated a total of 2,177 fans to MANNA.

This impact wouldn't be possible without the support of local businesses, churches, nonprofits, civic clubs, Sunday school classes, schools, families and individual donors who chose to make a difference. Every fan represents comfort, relief and care for someone facing the summer heat.

Together, you've helped improve the lives of more than 2,000 of our neighbors, proving that small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact.
