Green Still Dominates Palettes

One of the leading interior design trends of the past couple of years has been the use of green as a powerhouse hue—and in 2023, 1stDibs’s insiders don’t expect that to change. Once again, emerald snagged the survey’s highest color spot with 23%, followed closely by earthy sage (22%), burnt orange (20%), mustard yellow (20%), and cobalt blue (18%). “This is the third year in a row that the number one color is emerald. When a trend shows signs of great resilience, we think it ceases to be a trend and crosses into the realm of design classic or icon,” elaborates Barzilay Freund. Beyond that enduring love for the jewel tone, there was a surprising spike in appreciation for soft yet bold hues of lavender (14%, up from 6% in 2021) and mauve (13%, up from 9% in 2021), reinforcing that percolating penchant for the 1980s.

This is one of our clients gorgeous pantry doors and we love it! It’s old, and Chippy and the color is just 🤤😍 The glass was clear so we added an antique mirrored finish in each pane to finish it off and to hide the contents in the pantry.

Good morning! This kitchen is proof that you can use color along with warm and lighter tones. Not everything has to be white and grey! We added inking to the island to bring out the details of the beautiful woodwork. 🥰

It’s been awhile.
We are in a busy season. College kids, kindra is building a house and has a house full of new puppies!
PLUS our jobs, bridal showers and two weddings!! GOODNESS.
Anywho ~ my niece got married last weekend and she asked me to paint a Bible for her wedding, it was the guest sign in book.

She asked her guest to highlight their favorite scripture and sign their name in the margin.
Isn’t that a beautiful idea? I loved it.

Excited to post this one because I LOVE it… Inspired by a watercolor wallpaper. But IMO turned out even better.
We painted a gorgeous accent wall for the most precious little girl, with the cutest little sister and bother. 💗

Yesterday we spent some time with a client selecting fabrics and designing the “new look” for her living room. Her new floors are going in soon, new paint is coming .. so we are making final selections on fabrics for sofas, arm chairs, an ottoman, and a couple of wing back chairs.
We love this color palette! Can’t wait to see this all come together.

We were able to pop in and look at one of the guest bathrooms and we are loving it.
