Words That Crack Armor: Mukesh Bardia's Journey with Shayari✒️
"Seeing the crowd react—whether it’s with a smile, a tear, or even a deep breath—because of something I said? That’s truly divine," says Mukesh Bardia, his eyes lighting up as he describes performing Shayari, the centuries-old art of Urdu poetry. What began as nervous steps onto an open mic stage in Indore has since evolved into something far more profound.
Among the countless stages he's graced across India—from Delhi to Kolkata, Guwahati to Bangalore—one particular evening stands out. The audience? A regiment of Indian Armed Forces soldiers. "These were tough guys but seeing them cheer and applaud my words; sharing their personal stories, made me feel extraordinary,” he recalls. Later that night, a Brigadier offered him a drink with words that captured the magic: “Jawans are deemed to be ultra strong, but to touch soft corners of emotions in their heart requires special blessing. Cheers boy! You earned it.”
It's these unexpected moments of connection that fuel Mukesh's passion. Sometimes, audience members walk right up to the stage mid-verse, moved to tears or reaching out for a hug. "When someone cheers for every line as if it were meant especially for them," he reflects, "that's when you know you've touched a soul."

Always Curious, Always Packed, here is Piyasha’s Travel Diary
“Last-minute travel plans? That’s kind of my thing.” For Piyasha Chowdhury, life is better with a backpack and a plane ticket. Thirteen countries down and countless more to go, she’s always planning her next adventure—usually before the last one ends.
From street food hunts in Malaysia to late-night conversations in Portugal, Piyasha lives for the moments that don’t fit neatly into Instagram captions. Of course, not every adventure goes smoothly. “I once tried ordering Pad Thai in Thailand and ended up with an omelet,” she says, laughing. “Now I know how to say 'omelet' in Thai—khai jeow.”
For Piyasha, travel isn’t about collecting passport stamps—it’s about the stories, food, and fleeting moments that stay with her long after she unpacks. “Every place opens a new chapter and reminds me the world is so much bigger than my inbox.”
