I look forward to hearing from you if I can be of service.
Sincerely,
Stephen

"We're going to have a friend or family member officiate our ceremony". There is nothing wrong with having someone close to you Officiate your ceremony if they have experience performing ceremonies. Over the last few years I receive a message like the below about a dozen or so times a year.
This email was sent to me 10/14/19 for a wedding 11/09/19.
"Unfortunately, my fiancé and I had a friend fall through last minute as being our officiant. We have been together nearly 7 years and are very much looking forward to our wedding in Driftwood on November 9th. By some miracle, are you available to officiate on that Saturday for us?"
I want your ceremony to be special, I don't want you to have any stress on one of the happiest days of your life!! Find a professional that will ensure you're not left frantically searching for the ONLY service provider you MUST have on your wedding day. :-)
May all your dreams become a reality!
Stephen

What you need to know about your Marriage License - In Texas, there's no place for the bride and groom to sign the marriage license. There's three signatures required: The County Clerk when they issue it, The Officiant after the ceremony, and the Deputy at the Clerk's Office when they put it into the system. In Texas, the state law is the person that Officiates your ceremony must file your marriage license, that means they take it with them and file it back with the County Clerk. You can pick up your marriage license in any County in Texas and get married in any County in Texas, you do not have to pick up your license in the same county you're getting married in. There's a 72 hour waiting period after you get your marriage license before you can get married and it's good for 90 days. {Happy wedding planning!}
Experience and thoughtfulness makes all the difference when the bride and groom become emotional. Stephen always carries new hankies to help with sweet tears of love.
What's my favorite part of the ceremony? Custom vows!! When couples take the time to write something beautiful and special for their beloved, it is generally emotional and you can hear and feel the love in the words being spoken.
Here's a portion of some beautiful vows from a recent ceremony from the groom to his bride: "I vow to love you when the sun shines, and even more when the rain falls. I vow to never let a mood in a moment affect a love of a lifetime. I vow to provide you security in all facets of our lives, and to always protect you, not because you need it, but because you're valuable."
This gives you a glimpse of some of the beautiful love this amazing groom has for his bride.
It can be fairly simple writing your own vows, simply begin to write the things you love about your beloved, it's amazing how quickly 2-3 paragraphs come together when you're talking about "your love".
Do you know that there are dozens of beautiful and meaningful unity ceremonies to symbolize the two becoming one? If you are curious about the options we provide an extensive list is on our website to help you choose one that means the most to you.
idoceremonies.org There are many unity ceremonies that signify the moment you as individuals becoming one couple. Here you will find many unity ceremonies to choose from.

When should you hire your Officiant or any other service provider? As soon as you have your date finalized and know you need their services. I Do Ceremonies continues to grow and we've already had more than 130 requests for 2019 weddings. Don't delay and miss out on the service provider you really want, book them as soon as you have your date and know you have your first choice of providers. Thank you to all of the couples, wedding planners, venue owners, other service providers and others that have continued to refer others to us. We appreciate the honor of being a part of such a beautiful moment in our couples lives!
It's always great to be able to share a video highlighting a ceremony to help couples visualize the moment. This one does a great job at showing how it looks as the guests rise as the bride passes by. Enjoy! Thank you S.C. Videography!

As we wrapped up 2017 we were honored to marry 174 couples, thank you to all of our special couples that allowed us to be a part of your special day!
We've kicked off 2018 with our first wedding for I Do Ceremonies here at our venue (SiloandOak.com), marrying a special couple that are both active duty military. Thank you to all of those that are serving or have served in our armed forces!!
Brides who have attended other's weddings have begun to notice all the phones being held up in the air to capture a photo, but the problem is the photographer ends up with photos of phones! To help ward off this wedding atrocity a small card such as this can be left on each seat or passed out as guests pass the welcome table.
27 years ago today I said "I Do" to the person that has become my best friend, my biggest supporter, my helpmate, my treasure! I've been honored to marry over 650 couples over the years, I wish all of my couples (previous and future) all of the years of happiness that you will only find in marriage!
Proverbs 18:22 The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the Lord.
Ecclesiastes 4:9 – Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken.
Live life one day at a time with no regrets, celebrate with the one that chose you, be selfless, be forgiving, and may all of your dreams become a reality!

Stephen is truly one of a kind! His passion for marriage shines through him. We are so grateful that we chose I Do Ceremonies. We had a wonderful experience and loved every moment of it. Stephen is organized, supportive, prompt, hilarious and loving. He truly cares about your happiness and marriage. We hope years from now he will officiate our vowel renewal. THANK YOU I DO CEREMONIES!!!
How could a little boy not want to be a part of your wedding if he gets to be this fierce about his job. Stephen had a flawless ring ceremony thanks to this ring security! Thank you The Mill Photography Studio for these fantastic photos!
From the thumbs up to the smile we know this groom was ready to say "I do!"
Caution: This photo causes contagious smiling. So much joy exuding from this memory of another beautiful couple committing to one another their love and devotion. Thank you Godkin Photo
Instead of pulling out a crumpled piece of notebook paper when it is time to read your vows, how would you like to have something secure, and frankly less likely to have ketchup stains (why do creative moments happen when you're eating?)? You could hold a beautiful custom vow book that will last forever, not get lost among other papers, and be a intimate reminder of your commitment to each other sitting on your shelf. One of our recent weddings had these lovely vow books to use for their ceremony - custom to their wedding colors and blank on the inside so they could write what their hearts felt for the most special day of their lives!💒
"Thank you again for everything, the handkerchief - I thought that was just the extra mile you went for us and it meant so much!" Adam & Kaity
Instead of a crumpled sweaty piece of paper with your vows written on it, write them in a beautiful book that you can use during the ceremony. It looks lovely to hold (think photos) and you can keep it out to refer to and remember the day you said "I do."

Stephen has many couples who choose to write their own vows (this is his favorite choice) and it can seem a bit daunting because it is so personal. Here is a little help...

Precious moment as this family becomes one. So honored to be a part.
