When You're Gifted...
When you're gifted,
get used to people watching you, but never being available to publicly support you because they secretly envy what God is doing in your life.
When you're gifted,
people often leave when the gift no longer pleases their flesh or serves their desires.
When you're gifted,
God will use seasons of suffering to teach you the difference between ministry relationships and Kingdom relationships.
Don't mistake the crowd for support.
The same people who celebrate the gift can sometimes reject the person carrying it. Even Judas walked closely with Jesus before betraying Him.
It's all part of the process of dying to self, growing in discernment, and learning where your strength truly comes from.
Keep your heart pure.
Keep your eyes on God.
Keep moving forward.

Age doesn't mean depth.
Depth doesn't automatically mean they have the capacity for you.
If there is no altar and no living sacrifice, there is no room for the counsel of the Holy Spirit.
Without surrender, a relationship can easily become manipulation dressed up as wisdom.
Not every person with experience has maturity.
Not every person with knowledge has discernment.
And not every voice that sounds wise is being led by God.
True wisdom doesn't control people
it points them back to God's heart.
