Nearly 350 Prescott High School freshmen got a glimpse of what it takes to make a paycheck stretch during Reality Store! 💵🏠🚗

On August 25–26, SciTech Institute’s Workforce Team joined the Center for the Future of Arizona, Launch Pad Teen Center, and AAUW Prescott to bring this hands-on experience to students.

Led by AAUW, Reality Store gives students an occupation and salary, then sends them through the realities of building a monthly budget. Housing, transportation, food, and other everyday expenses quickly put those numbers into perspective!

Across nine to twelve sessions, more than 60 volunteers helped students make choices, balance their budgets, and see how career decisions can connect to life after high school.
