Small Business Saturday is Next Saturday November 29th!!

We’re so excited for everything we’ve got planned, especially our scavenger hunt & raffle!

We’d love to see all of you there to shop local & hang out with us ❤️

Somehow it’s almost the end of 2025 and we’re approaching the holiday season! We have a lot of classes that can be perfect holiday decor, gifts and just for fun!

We are doing dried flower arrangements that make the perfect everlasting gift in a “The Nutcracker” bookish vase. We saw the love for the mini holiday floral trees that we posted and can’t wait to host a class showing how we did it! & right before Christmas we have a “petals & punch” class where we are using holiday mugs as our vase and hot cocoa as our inspiration!

Crafts are all Winter focused with cutting out snowflakes out of book pages, creating book page filled ornaments, decorating gift bags to look like gingerbread houses & lastly creating a “to be read” jar for 2026 to keep track of your reading goals!

We have book bedazzling on the 5th & we’re bring back soap making with where we’ll be creating 6 sparkling snowflake soaps!

So excited to see you all this holiday season and if you didn’t know next Saturday November 29th is small business Saturday & we have some fun stuff planned so stay tuned!

mushroom pitchers and 21 stems of the most gorgeous roses, snapdragons, stock, dianthus, and mums with a group of rad ladies who didn’t get bothered that i dropped an f 💣 in the first 2 seconds of class 🤙

you are all the charm and grace and hilariousness in real life that your main characters exude on page. i could use use all the adjectives but those are secret. 🤐

Today is Wijaya House’s wonderful founder/tastemaker/yapper’s birthday! (if you know Melati you know she hates being called the owner of Wijaya House but that is also what she is 😝

If you have visited Wijaya House before I hope that you have had the luxury of having a conversation with Melati before as in my opinion that is the main draw to Wijaya. Melati is the most welcoming and talkative person I know, she has provided so much insight and knowledge that has benefited my life immensely and anyone who visits her shop.

Wijaya House is her passion project and you can tell that from every aspect of the interior design and the books we shelf. Everyone who visits comments that it is the coziest little bookshop and that is due to Melati’s taste and that this store basically looks like her home.

All of our flower events wouldn’t be possible without her hosting expertise & all of her wonderful innuendos. If you haven’t taken a class with her leading it, you’re missing out.

To wrap it up, Melati is the best person to ever open a bookshop and she is full of Melati Lore ™ (like did you know she sang for bill murray or ran a cupcake business) And just overall is the best boss & mother to 2 kids (which I am not one of, tragically) 🤍💌
