New this week, large 22 x 20 denim pillow. Denim is all upcycled from jeans and a jacket. Cactus is a plush green upholstery fabric.

Love upcycled grey and blue denim pillow. Backed in a thick layer of batting, great dimension. Will be bringing to the this Saturday 8 to 1 PM..

My “Quarentine Collection “ was taking over my home. I’m now back at the downtown Phoenix Mkt on a smaller scale and limited weekends. We have sanitation stations throughout. I have sanitizer in my booth as well. I have a large number of masks, potholders, and my upcycled bags. All products are machine or hand washable.

Having a Christmas in July sale in my Etsy Shop on all pillows and bags through Monday. My “Quarantine” collection is growing like crazy! Thanks to Larry and Caroline for modeling a few of my favs.

Almost all are made into covers for easier shipping and most are washable. Found some upholstery fabric from the 90’s in a bin. I brought back one of my old potted prickly pear designs, using the old fabric.

Took a hike out by my fav mountains the Superstition’s with my friend Nancy. She’s also from MI and moved her in the mid 70’s. We’ve been vendors at the market for a dozen years. Was so great getting out and doing something. It was only a mile hike, but so gorgeous! Saw a cute couple taking their Senior pics out there. 💕

A little cuteness overload! Haven’t posted on here in a month. A lot has happened since then. Hardest part is being away from my family. We are staying connected by FaceTime and Zoom for my grandsons bday last weekend. Sarah and her two bunnies photo shoot just made my day. In the mist of all this my grand dog Fitz had to be put to rest. He was my little buddy and I’m really going to miss him when I go to their house.
I have no new designs to share as I’ve have not made one thing except masks the last 3 weeks. I may have to take a break and make a pair of my fav cactus pillows! They have been cut out for two weeks and put on hold. They always put a smile on my face. 🌵

All set up and overflowing with new designs. This month marks my 13th year with the market. The name has changed to Downtown Phoenix Farmers Market but same great place! Here till 1 PM.

Night one of Phoestivus last evening. Thanks to all the wonderful people who come out every year to support all things local. We really appreciate you!! My 10h year of doing this event. It was so festive and fun! With over 200 vendors there are some amazing gifts to choose from. We’ll be back next Thursday from 5 to 10 PM.

Had a great week traveling and in Prescott with Dave and Jan. Lake Havasu, London Bridge, the cool town of Oatman, AZ full of burros, and Clint Black last night. Even got a few saguaro pillows made. Lots of memories made! 😎🌵
