Thank you to Jessica Gonzales for welcoming us to Rancho Destino by G for our daughter's birthday 🥳 and for making horseback riding accessible to all. 🐴🐎 So many ranches in this area priced us out. 😔 One day, I came across a post of a local ranch offering free rides for the month of August.

It must have been meant to be because out of the thousands of people who shared interest in going, we were somehow selected. 🫶🏾

It felt like we were amongst family, and it was so much fun, but more than that, it was educational. 🤩 They made sure we understood how the horses were feeling, what they need to stay healthy, and talked us through everything. 🧠 We can't wait to go back! 🎉

During the school year, our Young Homesteaders learned all about pollinators, and got to watch the life cycle of the beautiful monarch butterfly. 🦋🐛 To culminate our study, we started a pollinator garden and the butterflies must have appreciated it. 🌸🌼 We currently have 36 caterpillars in our garden. 🐛🦋 Nature is so amazing! 🌻🥰

The 2025 - 2026 school year was everything we could imagine and more. 👩🏾‍🌾🌟 We had so many amazing experiences from Egg Drop Challenges, w**d investigations, learning to care for animals, the lemonade stand, and more. 🍋🐾

Our students presented on their favorite moments from the school year before enjoying some water play and some delicious BBQ. 🥳🍔

I'm still in awe of all of the progress we all made this year. ✨💖
