So let’s talk about Georgia Fort.
Georgia is an Emmy-winning independent Black journalist and founder of BLCK Press.

She was arrested at her home by federal agents yesterday after covering a protest at Cities Church.The same protest they arrested Don Lemon for covering.

She was literally live on camera when federal agents showed up at her home scaring her mother and children.

She’s been clear she was doing what journalists do: documenting what was happening in her community.

This is a woman who’s spent years reporting on stories that matter to the people. This wasn’t someone chasing clout. This was a seasoned journalist doing her job.

She was later released, but the message was already sent.

And let’s be real...this is what it looks like when an administration full of bullies starts flexing power instead of respecting the Constitution. When journalism gets treated like a crime. When fear becomes a tactic. When laws feel optional and humanity gets pushed aside in service of a bigger agenda led by someone clearly thirsty for control.

Georgia was doing her job.
They were sending a message.
And that should concern all of us.
