"Winston" is one very fine boy whose portrait was hand-delivered to the owners in Michigan. He was an honor to paint, and the whole family was so sweet with their praises. Such a handsome boy! I wish I could meet ALL of the doggos I paint -- I know that someday that will happen!

Experimenting with off-use mediums: acrylic on watercolor paper. Works JUST like watercolor except the paper really sucks up the color and takes a lot longer to get depth of values. Fun stuff. Great subjects. Precious pups like these need to be remembered forever.
