Guess the cat knew what he needed after a long night

I believe the original launch date was scheduled for Super Bowl Sunday, but this one fits so much better. 😉

For everything physical, we must also look at the spiritual. NASA has named this project Artemis. When we look at Scripture, we see an interesting account of Artemis as well.

In Acts 19, Paul was headed to Jerusalem but there was a riot in Ephesus that derailed them. A dude named Demetrius, a businessman who profited off the making and selling of silver shrines of the “great goddess Artemis” didn’t like this message of Jesus as God. He knew that belief in the one true God would ruin his business and the system would crumble. So he told the people that Paul was the one misleading people and their empire without belief and support in Artemis would be in ruins.

So they cause chaos as an attempt to derail and disrupt this message of truth Paul and his peeps were spreading. It says the people of the city were filled with rage and were also confused.

I’ve heard many Christians as of late express confusion too over which to believe — the teachings of NASA or God’s word.

A quick study on Artemis says she was the Greek goddess of hunt, the wilderness, the MOON, and chastity. She was a daughter of Zeus & twin to Apollo— the other NASA moon project. 🤔 These people of Ephesus were very clearly worshiping within a polytheistic culture at the time, and the message of a monotheistic Christ threatened that belief system — specifically the ones at the top profiting off its perpetuation.

If you consider yourself a Jesus follower, one must ask themselves if this overlap is coincidence or spiritually intentional?
Who is set to profit off Artemis? Who is leading people into the delusion that this is truth like Demetrius was? Who stands to lose if people know the actual Way, Truth, and Life — Jesus?

It’s interesting to read Scripture and see how this might be playing out in real time right before us!
