I was asked by a chef to refurbish this old cutting board that had sentimental value. It had a pretty big crack that needed to becut and glued back together in one spot. Then it got resurface to remove all the cut marks and show the grain pattern of the pieces again. Considering it was well used by a professional I think it came out looking pretty good

This beautiful piece of wood was destined for the trash bin. I should have taken some before pics but I always forget that part. It was used as a cutting board and was well worn with knife marks everywhere. The cracks had been filled with wood putty which failed.
So I adopted this piece in an effort to give it another chance at glory. I ran it through the planer a few times then sanded it down a little. Now I’m using dental pick to remove the putty and prep for some colored epoxy to fill the voids. The final step will be a quality finish so it can live a new life as a beautiful charcuterie board.

Happy to have been asked to create a table top from some wood a client had. They plan to turn some legs themselves, on a lathe.

We are stepping up our cutting board game for this holiday season. New designs are coming out and as always we do take special orders on any wood related creations. For our avian enthusiasts a line of birdhouses and bat boxes are now available.

I still find it amazing that with all the feedback about how bad the tips on Titebond are, the company just refuses to listen to its customers. We switched to using dollar store condiment bottles as glue dispensers a while back, such a good move.

We offer a wide variety of birdhouses, bird feeders, and nesting material holders. We can’t guarantee the birds will always use the products as intended.

We have a whole shop full of “it may be of use in the future”. 🤣

Once again as a local small business we are happy to support the community that supports us. My new friend Maci helped me out with my order of 100 boxes of Girl Scout Cookies. Then today we donated all those cookies to the local fire department as a small way of saying thank you for all the things they do to keep us safe.
