Tacoma Library ready for its close up After a months-long remodeling project, the Tacoma Public Library Main Branch is ready to reopen to the public. Library director Amita Lonial explains some of the changes meant to provide for the needs of library users today and into the future.

Craig from Sparkman will guide us through a selection of perfect wines ideal for holiday dinners or as thoughtful gifts. In celebration, we are pleased to offer a complimentary professional crystal glass with every purchase of the Rainmaker Cabernet Sauvignon or Rukus Syrah. The price of these is normally $70 but for this event only will be down to $59.

Tickets are just $20 per person, which includes a tasting of five wines, two of which are valued at $70, allowing you to savor these exquisite selections at the price of our everyday flight.

So excited to have Tacoma ART BUS stopping by today! You can see and purchase wonderful works by Ghost Fish Art, Kip is a Tacoma-born multi media artist who takes inspiration from the natural world and ecosystems. They are an interdisciplinary working as a marine researcher and painter who specializes in scientific illustration. Their style focuses on bright bold colors, while also maintaining the unique physical elements of each species. Through their work, they hope to create a connection between the arts and sciences that is both enjoyable and educational for people from all backgrounds.

On the flight today is red blend of 60% Garnacha Tintoreta & 40% Monastrell from Almansa Spain. A 2017 Vintage bright red fruit punch has developed wonderfully with well blended tannins and spiced backbone. Come on by for a flight!

The Buried Bottle is partnering with you to support our local Humane Society! From January 22nd through February 5th come by for a bottle or glass of 2021 Pets Petite Sirah from Vinum Cellars in Oakville California.

Tasting notes: This Petite Sirah is both tannic and bold while maintaining a juicy, overripe profile displaying ample acidity to balance the tannins and fruit concentration making it multidimensional and food friendly. The finish is so supple and smooth that you will miss it when it is gone.

While we haved loved the name Vin Grotto, due to the amount of other wonderful wine businesses in the industry we have decided to change the name of our business to The Buried Bottle! Whe chose this name as an omage to our hidden speakeasy atmosphere and that every bottle can be the perfect treasure.
So what does this name change mean for you? Not too much! you can still find us at the same location and our commitment to finding you the perfect unique wine that embodies its varietal will be our mission.
