Wood Envy Designs has been providing face lifts to furniture and home decor since 2016. Inspired by all things beautiful, my work yields a vintage style.

Thank you for visiting my page! I naturally have a taste for vintage material and antique decor and my work tends to yield a similar style. However, I can work with you to create your own custom order to fit YOUR style. I value your input and feedback, so please share your comments as I post my project results. I also value your collaboration. If there is a idea you have, but aren't sure how to cr

WED has taken a long sabbatical due to the birth of its newest beneficiary 6 weeks ago! But I am so excited to get back into it with this awesome vintage dresser I snagged today! Here's to hoping I get it done before next fall! Stay tuned for more furniture transformations and of course stools coming soon! (Or not so soon depending on what the infant and 2 year old decide!)

Last fall someone savagely stole my signature yellow bench from our yard. I was so sad (mostly because it was my most successful Pinterest project!). But this year that allowed for a fresh new look to spring/summer home decor!

Last week I shared one of the many reasons why donating 25% from the sale of my new stools to the March of Dimes foundation means so much to me. Another major reason I chose this organization was because of my beautiful niece Kellyn. At 31 weeks, after a seemingly normal pregnancy, my sister-in-law went into preterm labor. The doctors were able to stop her labor and give her a steroid shot to help advance the baby's (Kellyn) lung development. One week later, labor began again and Kellyn was born at 32 weeks, 8 weeks premature. During pregnancy, a baby's lungs are not fully developed until around 37 weeks. Babies born prior to 37 weeks are at significant risk for developmental disorders. The March of Dimes foundation funds on-going research to help prevent preterm birth. The one week delay in Kellyn's birth was critical. It allowed the doctors to give her the steroid shot to help advance lung development and gave her another week for brain and growth development. It may have been the difference that allowed Kellyn to live a wonderful, normal life. By purchasing a stool, you're also helping fund research to give future babies a chance at life. I love you my sweet Kellyn girl! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ
