Runner since May 2012. Lets Go!

Here I will document my journey of weight loss, weight maintenance and training for my second half marathon after two hip repair surgeries (the second having been done on June 19, 2020).

First run since the weekend races. I didnt want to do to much bc I plan on a morning run. And i needed to run off some stuff. Everything felt good so thats a positive.

Medal Monday. One weekend, two races, 20.5 miles in all. I feel pretty good other than a little tired and a little sore behind the knee (which is to be expected). My legs are not sore but I will be using my stand up desk today so I dont get stiff from sitting all day.

I never thought id ever say that running and finishing a 7.5 mile race averaging 11:30ish pace would feel good😂 and that i probably could have kept going 😂. Mark it down in history! 😂 Also friends who force friends to run too stay friends forever 😂 Nate Race 5k & 12k

Out the door before 6 for a muggy morning run! Going to convince Noah to get ice cream for dinner tonight 😂

That run felt disgusting and not kind to me. I stopped at 3.25 and walked the .2 home bc I was done. Jen and I are shooting for a 6am run again so maybe it will be better lol.
