Well a week that was supposed to be focused on website re-vamping has been turned into a very intensive week of shooting! Boston Lantern festival last night,Outside the Box festival tonight, Saturday, and Sunday, and a shoot in Cambridge Tuesday night! It's going has been and is going to continue to be an amazing week!

So much to update on my website! Beginning stages are in the works today-hopefully the brand new site with a lot of new material will be set to launch soon!

Going through and editing photographs from the senior portrait session I did on Sunday. I really enjoy going back and reviewing and editing photographs where the subject is so relaxed and easy to work with!

Weather looks about perfect for the senior portrait session that I'm doing tomorrow with a girl and her horse and dog at a semi-run down barn across from a blueberry farm!

Cosplay

Sweet 16 Party

Did a cosplay photoshoot this evening with some really cool people. Excited to see the photos on a real screen!

Did some rigorous outdoor test shooting with my new camera today. Gonna take care of some stuff and then as it starts to get dark, it will be time to go test what it's renown for: low-lighting shooting!!!!!! Can't wait to see how it deals with the low-lighting situations!!!!!!

Event that I was supposed to shoot today was postponed until next weekend which is sweet because then some serious testing on Saturday when I get my new camera to prep it for the event on next Sunday. Meanwhile, wishing I had water gear for my stuff 'cuz I really feel like going out and shooting the rain!!!!!

Morning: work on updating the software for my Mac and upgrading to Lion OS; Afternoon: Getting photos ready for editing while waiting for my orthodontist appointment; Night: Finish editing photographs from the Sweet 16 I spent Saturday night photographing. I feel very productive right now!

According to the date listed on my business certificate, it is the official first anniversary of Courtney Paul Photography! Thank you to everyone who has been so supportive this past year, and hopefully this year will be even more successful!

Think I'll edit fireworks photos today and look at updating my portfolio.

More batteries for the flash are on the way for a sweet 16 party next month. I can never have enough batteries on hand!

I love my clients. They're just all awesome!

Spending the day researching different online art sites to sell my work. There are much worse ways I could be spending my summer.

The months of careful observation and watching of 3 different swan nests has paid off! Got photos of absolutely ADORABLE newborn signets today-I will be taking their portraits often over the next few months!!!

Set up a Redbubble account today. Hadn't even finished uploading everything I wanted to and people were already commenting on my photos! One of them told me that the swamp we visited in South Carolina (where The Patriot was filmed) is currently on fire!! I loved that swamp!

Photoediting. Now that school is done with, I don't have to be up until ridiculous hours of the morning to finish everything!!! :)
