📸 June 3, 2026 ~ 🏖️ Big things happening on our beaches! The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Grand Strand Beach Renourishment Project is in full swing in Myrtle Beach right now, adding vital sand to combat erosion and protect our coastline. 🌊
Soon it heads our way to Surfside Beach in July — expect crews starting around mid-July (weather permitting) from areas like near the pier northward. This is great news for stronger dunes, better storm protection, and a wider beach for everyone this season and beyond!
The beach stays open during work — just a few temporary sections close at a time. Excited to see our shoreline restored again and I can’t wait to find shells again 😎🐚 ❤️

Even though we don’t always see and feel the sun, she rises…no matter how big the waves, she rides them with ease..and no matter how defeated you feel at times or question the whys of a situation…stop ❤️ get up, shake it off, clear the negativity in your head, and start again 🙏🏻😘 the beach is a perfect place to heal the soul and cleanse your mind.
