The death toll to this little town has reached 115 people.

Well, Mika just brought us news that a gang in Ti Riviye attacked the town of Pon Sondi this morning and killed 62 people! Please pray for the people involved, and for this entire country! God is needed here so badly! Evil is growing every day. This is about 2 hours away from us.

Today we finally have internet. We haven't had any strong enough to use for about a month. The dam at Cange broke down and there was no electricity until recently. I believe that was why the internet was off or very weak. They fixed it last week and then Natcom had to fixed up their towers and lines. Hopefully it will be working for a long time now.

WE had a change of plans for our kids schooling this year. We found that our Head teacher didn't really set us up with the Dept of Education. They had no papers on our school and didn't know anything about us. Our oldest kids just finished 8th grade and were supposed to be going into 9th grade. I took all our papers to the Inspectors of the Dept of Education and asked what we could do at this point. They helped us get everything we needed together and told us we could look for a school that had room for our kids. Mika found a school that could take all 7 of them in 9th grade! Everything worked out all right! Glory to God!!! We are also sending Lily there for 2nd grade. She failed 4th grade here and probably only passed 3rd so she could go to 4th. We have kept our grade school teacher for the kids going into 5th grade.

This has created a problem. We had to buy 2 school uniforms per child and the school books for all 13 of our school kids. All in the past month. We still haven't paid the school! We are out of funds. We need $2000 to finish paying for school and shoes. We get our money monthly and we have had to borrow some to get this far. We need some donations soon in order to pay the school in Oct and be able to buy food. The fastest way to donate would be to send the donation through Zelle to my personal email address: [email protected] I can then wire transfer to our account in Haiti. Any amount will be gladly accepted. If you only have $5, please know that that is $5 more than we have now! We want your help, but don't want you to suffer because of it. Many hands make a large difference!

Our current circumstances: The prices here are outrageous now and many things are hard to find. We haven't had a refrigerator for over a year. The fuel for our generator was very hard to find and very expensive to buy. It is becoming much easier to find now, so we will be able to run a refrigerator long enough for it to work. Our truck is needing a lot of work, or we need to find a newer vehicle. It is 10 years old and these horrible roads have really destroyed it. We pray about all these problems and I know God has a solution for us.

Thank you for all your prayers and all the help you have been to us in the past!! God bless you all

Our mission mobile is on it's last legs. It has served us faithfully for 10 years, but we need a new vehicle. With so many of you now in the States, we wanted to ask if any of you have a vehicle that you now want to sell. We are an orphanage for children born with AIDS. They need to travel to the hospital on a regular basis for exams and medicine. We need something that will hold at least 9 people. We need something that will be reliable. A van or pickup probably. Our current vehicle is a truck with a taptap cover on the back. If you have one you want to sell please pm us with the details. God bless you all!

One of our boys, Darlenski, is in jail this morning. He left us about 4 months ago and has been living in town. He broke into a store on Monday and stole a phone, cords, charger, and a SIM. They tracked the items down to Darlenski this morning. He is lucky to be in jail because the crowd started calling out "Burn him!" which happens in Haiti quite a bit to thieves. Luckily someone called Mika and he was able to get there fast and took him to the police. The judge will probably kick him out of town, which will leave him somewhere where he knows no one, has nowhere to sleep and without food.
Please pray for him and his future. He needs more than we can do.

Update: He is out of jail but has to leave town or he may be killed. We will be shipping him off tomorrow am to stay with William. He needs our prayers.

Ray is currently in Florida getting some medical tests to check out some bad results in Sept. Please keep him in your prayers for good answers to this. I am holding the fort in Haiti. We are about 3 hours from Port au Prince. No gangs near us and nothing here to draw them. God is protecting us and He is good!
Edit: His tests came back great! No issues! No worries!!
God is good!

To all those who follow us: We are safe. We are still all here in our compound in Haiti. Our area is poor so there is nothing to draw the gangs here. The country is running out of fuel and food. We only have a small amount of diesel and gasoline; only 25 # of propane. As long as the sun shines we will still have some electricity, but not much. We have food for about 3 weeks. We are living on your prayers! Please continue to pray for us! Ask others to pray for us! Put us on your church's prayer list! God hears you and He answers prayer. I will update our status here. Thank you for your prayers!!!
