During a recent deer recovery, our thermal drone picked up clear visuals of the deer alive and moving. While it wasn’t the outcome the hunter was hoping for, knowing the deer was still on its feet provided something just as important — answers and peace of mind.

Every track tells a story. Sometimes that story ends with a recovery. Other times, it ends with knowing the animal is still alive and making the decision to back out and give it more time.

That’s why every flight matters.

We’re not just looking for deer. We’re helping hunters understand what happened after the shot and providing another set of eyes when the blood trail gets difficult.

What a busy opening weekend here in Wisconsin! While in between recoveries we sponsored a target at the Gods Country Stick and Strings Rubber Bucky Shoot, which helped raise money for a local school’s archery program.

It was such an incredible event! The shooting was awesome, the hospitality was second to none, and most importantly, the people were absolutely amazing. It’s events like this that help grow archery, support our youth, and keep this sport we love moving forward.

We’re excited to announce the 2026 Full Draw Buck Recovery Challenge!

This season, we’re putting a little extra incentive behind finding those Wisconsin bucks.

THE BIGGEST QUALIFYING WISCONSIN WHITETAIL BUCK LOCATED FROM THE AIR BY FULL DRAW DRONE RECOVERY WILL WIN $500 CASH!

Here’s how it works:
• Legally harvest a Wisconsin whitetail buck.
• Need help locating him? Call Full Draw Drone Recovery.
• Your buck MUST be digitally located and verified from the air by Full Draw Drone Recovery to qualify for the contest.
• Once you physically retrieve the carcass and bring it to our launch site, your buck will be measured and scored on-site using Rackline.ai.
• The highest gross score at the end of the contest wins $500 CASH!

IMPORTANT DESIGNATION: Simply hiring Full Draw for another service or locating your own deer does not qualify. The deer carcass must be found and verified from the air by Full Draw Drone Recovery.

OFFICIAL SCORING & TIE-BREAKER:
The Gross Score recorded in the Rackline.ai app at the time of on-site scanning will serve as the official contest score. In the event of a tie score to the exact decimal point, the winner will be determined by:
1) The greater number of scoreable points, followed by
2) The earliest timestamped flight-recovery log generated by our drone software.

WISCONSIN LEGAL COMPLIANCE:
This promotion is a strict contest of skill conducted in full compliance with Wisconsin Statute Section 100.171 and Wis. Admin. Code. This is NOT a random drawing, lottery, or raffle. All entries must be harvested in 100% compliance with Wisconsin DNR hunting and game laws. Drones are utilized strictly for the location of a deceased carcass; any tracking of an alive or wounded animal is strictly prohibited and results in immediate contest disqualification.

The contest will run throughout the 2026 Wisconsin deer hunting season. Full written rules are available to any client upon booking/request.

We’ll keep a running leaderboard throughout the season, so there’s only one question:

For 2026, we’re keeping our pricing simple, fair, and transparent, while offering extremely competitive rates to keep professional thermal drone recovery affordable for Wisconsin hunters.

$250 — Deer Recovery
• Up to 2 hours of recovery time
• Serving a 75-mile radius of Sun Prairie, WI
• $0.50 per mile beyond the 75-mile radius
• NO additional fees
• NO hidden charges

Deer Still Alive? No Problem.
If the initial flight locates your deer and shows that it is still alive, there’s NO additional charge to come back and check on the animal.

VETERAN & FIRST RESPONDER DISCOUNT
We’re proud to offer a special discount to veterans and active/retired Police, Fire & EMS personnel as a small thank-you for your service and sacrifice.

Last night was a busy one for Full Draw Drone Recovery!

We had the opportunity to put the drone to work on several different jobs, including property surveys, scouting for the upcoming hunting season, and assisting with the search for a missing dog.

Hunting season is right around the corner, and we’re already getting busy helping hunters scout properties and locate deer in thick cover. The Matrice 4TD and its thermal technology give us the ability to see what the naked eye can’t, day or night.

We’re looking forward to a busy season and are grateful for every opportunity to help hunters, landowners, and our community.

Summer vibes. When we’re not out doing deer recoveries, herd analysis, helping out with lost pets, or anything else our drones are capable of doing we love spending time at the races!
