my name is Maysa, I’m 24, mom of 3, and a lash artist + lash trainer in Summerville South Carolina ✨

I’ve been lashing for about 4 years now, this is my only job so all my free time goes to lashes!

A lot of people ask why I got into this industry and my response is usually always the same, I use to get them done, found an interest so I decided to go for it! I went to esthetician school to get my license and took a lash course. From that day forward I’ve learned pretty much everything on my own.

I became really good, quick, I knew this was for me.

I did classic, hybrid, and volume at first but got really bored so I decided 2 years ago I would start creating my own unique sets. Mixing curls, diameters, and lengths.

I instantly felt IN LOVE! It felt so good to be able to create something from scratch with no help just using my creativity and skills.

I’ve had a lot downs in my career of lashing, unfortunately felt like giving up at times cause I felt like I wasn’t being seen as the trust artist I am, but I always told my grandma “I’ve never been the one to give up”.

Being able to create something so beautiful for women is a feeling that you see through my work.

I don’t think a lot of people understand how lash extensions can truly transform your appearance, but one lash at a time I’m able to make it more aware cause lash extensions is a work of art and can change a persons life.

I specialize in creating unique lash extensions, I take into consideration their lifestyle, their face shape, their eye shape, their appearance as a whole and of course their needs and wants.

It’s my duty to ensure, the health of your lashes, you loving them, and your retention.

Turns out our natural lashes grow just like the hair on our head. And it sheds the exact same way.

Did you know that we shed up to 1 to 5 NATURAL lashes a day?

Did you know that lash extensions are applied to your natural lashes? The lashes that are shedding 1 to 5 a day!?

Your lash extensions are falling out with your natural lash!

This is why your lash extensions do not last forever. This is why if you want them for daily wear you must come back 2 to 3 weeks.

But! Some cannot go three weeks! We are all humans, but we are all have different genetics! Some women may shed more than others.

It is completely normal to have to come back every two weeks to get a fill. Some actually come back, even if they see just a tiny bit of shedding just to keep them completely full.

It is completely normal that your lash extensions are falling out, as long as you do not see excessive amount in a short period of time falling out you do not have a retention issue.

YOUR LASHES SHOULD BE FALLING OUT!

If you also do not have a lot of natural lashes to begin with, you will not have the same retention as others due to how much you shed with little to no lashes, vs who do have three layers of lashes, with a 1,000 natural lashes.
