Brightening blondes is always fun and creative! I enjoy being able to create new looks for clients! She had previously been getting highlights and color done and wasn't realizing the potential for her natural to pop so beautifully with her highlights! But to save some $$$ and some ⏲️ we have been just heavily highlighting to break up the color and blend it in! Low and slow always for the win, we were able to maintain the integrity of the hair by using lower developer at the back of the head and it came out so gorgeous! Swipe for the before!

This was a fun one! Back to back babylights while I'm 32 weeks pregnant!!!! Had to take some breaks in-between because my ankles were NOT having it but I loved how beautiful this came out! So worth all the time it took!!!!

Pretty soon I'm gonna have to start taking it easy with work because these big projects are a lot on my body but it is so satisfying in the end!!! Totally worth every bit of my day!!!!! These are some of my favorite things to do!

For a year she has been coming in to fix her hair from a severe chemical cut up to her chin. With severe breakage at her hairline.

Now, she has length and today we were able to finally give her se shape and some really hair love. Hard work from her has paid off! We cut her damage off as her hair grew and started doing dusting trims every service. Now her hair is growing healthy and looks bright and amazing!

When going from in store colors to professional, sometimes it's best to just embrace the stages with out pushing your hair too far! Her hair is still very healthy and has a gorgeous warm tone!!!

It's important to look at the health of your hair vs the length of it. Yes we all want long and beautiful hair, however cutting off your damage can greatly effect the appearance of your hair. Spit ends cut themselves, travel up and continue to split. Get small trims more frequently if you have damaged ends. Your hair will thank you for it later. I promise!!!!

It's time to let those dead ends go! Hair grows from the top of our heads no doubt. But have you ever wondered why your hair won't get very long? Well let me let you in on a little secret. If you trim your split ends more frequently, your hair will eventually become more full and healthier feeling as well as healthier looking in no time. When your ends split. Those ends eventually break off and when that happens, that hair creates a new split end and continues to travel up that strand of hair. So if you want your hair to grow long and full, go in for maintenance trims. About every 8 to 12 weeks. Trust the process. I promise your hair will grow!

Swipe for that before! This air touch highlight was so worth the hours it took. And during those hours we got in some pretty fun movies. Took us about 5 hours of work and about 6 hours total for sitting time, conditioning treatment, cut, style and photos. Why 6 hours? Well, we start off with low developer and work our way up, take baby fine slices and blow dry the shorter hair out.

Dry Shampoo is my best friend. Do you use it? Pro tip: apply dry shampoo after you wash and style. This will help prolong your style. Think of it as deodorant for your hair. You don't put it on after you sweat, you put it on before. 😉

Today's challenge. Did a treatment, grey coverage and started the process of blending in her old blonde to her natural (from a different stylist elsewhere). Swipe for the before.

Swipe for that before photo!!! Redness after waxing is 100% normal. As time goes on, your skin will go back to its normal color. But the smoothness is ridiculous!!!! Love love live these before and afters!!!!!!

Waxing! Waxing! All about the waxing!

Now that the weather is warming up, it's time to ditch those razors, that razor burn and that prickly skin! I promise you'll feel much better after each wax! Done wait until summer starts!!!! Waiting will only make transitioning into waxing more difficult!!! Come on in, stop on by! We have open appointments!

Legs legs legs! Did you know that waxing can reduce the thickness of your hair strands over time with consistent waxing? It's best to let your hair grow out at least 2 weeks from shaving! Once on a waxing cycle, the hairs become more soft and take at least 3 weeks before we can wax again. 3 weeks! It's time to ditch that razor and start waxing before that hot smell sun kicks in!

It's important that in-between waxing we let it grow. The best way to get that smooth skin feel is to let it grow!!!! Minimum of 2 weeks after shaving is when you can begin waxing and for the best results, the longer the better. It may take 2 or 3 waxes before all of your hair gets onto a healthy cycle, but I promise you it's worth it in the end!!!!

Mermaid madness

Look how much healthier her hair looks now! Trust the process. Let go of all that damage. This took MONTHS of hard work. Since August 5th to be exact. Previous stylist used permanent hair color to lowlights her hair with chunky low lights while putting some serious damage on her fine hair. We have been baying it for some time and have been working real hard to get those streaks out. She left today happy and eager to come back. It's hard to believe this is the same client! Love love love this transformation!!!

That soft blonde mixed with that soft money piece are goals for the fall. 😍
