Advanced Riding
Riding, equitation, for individuals, proven, skilled in riding. (1 hour)$55

Service Description
This course is for young adults and children that have ridden before and feel competent in grooming, saddling, mounting, and walk, trot. Participants will be required to provide proof of competence before joining this course. This course is intended to be three months of classes, one class each week. Lessons will be on a one to one basis with the instructor. Different times and days will be offered. Please contact us to book your lessons.

Liability Policy (Youth and Adults)
Public/Liability Insurance is held by the instructor, owner, and operator of this program. All students will be required to sign a waiver of liability as well as wear a helmet at all times when mounted. In addition all activities on the property and around horses will be supervised. Students and guardians are encouraged to ask for help in the event of an accident or safety issue.

From the Ground Up
An introduction to owning and caring for a horse (1 hour) $65

Service Description
This class is an introduction for first time horse owners or young adults and children to learn how to work on the ground with a horse. The class includes haltering a horse, feeding and general care of horses. This class does not include riding. This class is a stand alone course.

Lesson Instructor

Ruah Ferst

Ruah is a recent graduate with a bachelor's degree in Anthrozoology and Psychology. Anthrozoology is the human-animal bond and is a new field in animal sciences. Her notable work with horses has included a year of training in Natural Horsemanship at the University of Montana Western, Western Pleasure Show Instructor, and 4-H Horse Superintendent. In addition to riding lessons, she is also earning her master's degree in Social Work. Ruah has been teaching lessons since 2018 and originates from Montana. Her love of horses and dedication to teaching other horse lovers comes from owning and riding horses from the young age of six.
