Great night of racing at Larry King Law's Langley Speedway last night!!

Mark Wertz Racing, Phil Jones, and the band of brothers that they assembled have been working tirelessly to get that last little bit out of the ole girl and last night we put her on the POLE for the first time!! Was actually a 1-2-3 MWR start for race one! Took the green and quickly settled in behind Jacob Derrick with Tucker Jones not far behind. An opportunity presented itself on the final lap and I took it, squeezing between Jacob and Sarah Whitesell for the last lap, last turn pass for the 🏁🏆!!! Team also finished 1-2-3!!

Invert had us starting in P9 for the second feature. I managed to miss an accident on the start and work my way up to P3 eventually. A few late race cautions didn't exactly play out to our favor, but we still managed to walk away with a P4 finish! Congrats to Jacob on his 4th win of the season and Tucker for hanging onto 6th after being caught up in that early mess.

Hope fellow racer Alex Gay is alright after a really hard hit in the Enduro race!!

Super proud of our wheelman for completing a 13 year endurance race this weekend with his friends !!

Congratulations to all of them as they prepare for their next journeys in life!!

Had a good run last night. Finished P3 in the 50 lap feature at Larry King Law's Langley Speedway. Unfortunately, the new tires we put on the inside grew way more than expected over the long run and we ended the race with negative stagger which made the car VERY tight!! A late race caution bunched the field up, and after runnning P2 for most of the race it was a battle to hang on to third. Congrats to our teammate Jacob on the WIN!! Making the Mark Wertz Racing crew have another strong 1/3/7 finish!!

We have a little break in the racing action this month and will not be back until the next LLM race June 6th. There will be plenty of activities to attend with high school graduation coming up quickly at the end of the month.

Thanks to all of our supporters that came out last night. That was definitely the largest group of friends and family in attendance to date!! We appreciate having such a great group in our corner!!
