Here are some happenings from this week…

Yesterday we picked up 7 pallets of Little Debbie Cakes. Could not have done that without my grandsons and their friend, BridgetheGap Outreach Center Jennifer and Skylar.

After loading them one case at the time in to the truck, we turned around and went to the storage place and unloaded them.
Cecil and Andy jumped right in to help.
Then… multiple community partners came and got cakes for pantries, daycares, VBS, and SYAA.

Quick lunch, thank you Cecil, back in the box truck picked up a second load.

Too late and too tired to unload and I had obligations at the hospital… so we called on our neighbors this morning who have the same heart to feed the community… And today they showed up and showed out.

An entire truck load of snacks are in the hands of people who needed a snack.

Yes I know… not the healthiest but it’s food… LOTS OF FOOD.

And I know I’m forgetting a bunch…

The point is… SO MANY PEOPLE working together. SO MANY FAMILIES impacted in a positive way.

We accepted a LARGE donation of little Debbie cakes yesterday and need to share some… a BUNCH.
If you or someone you could use some for a food pantry, vacation Bible school, whatever,,, please message me for pick up today

Ok y’all. Full Plates has a lot going on these next couple of months

Besides having pop ups every Saturday, we also fill 11 pantries weekly.
In order to do that we have to have funds.
So… there are fund raisers.

If you are interested in committing to a monthly donation in any amount… we have that option.

Starting Tuesday the 26th we are participating in Belk’s Charity Event.
We have tickets/coupons for sale for $5.
You get 25% off your purchase and Belk is giving you the $5 back.
You can use more than one coupon but only 1 per transaction. There is no role that says you can’t have 3 orders and 3 coupons.
This fundraiser runs from 5/26 to 6/7.
Any coupon purchased can be used during that time. (You don’t have to buy it the same day you shop… You just have to but it from us)

Tuesday, June 2 from 4-8pm, is another awesome fundraiser.
IL Paesano’s (formerly Sal’s beside Food Lion across from Obici)
A portion of your purchase will be donated to Full Plate Project if you mention you’re participating in the event.
Dine in, carry out, or call in and pick up only. No door dash etc.
Come on in and get a pizza!!!

We’re having a cocktail party at Lake Prince Woods June 20. More to come on that.

Ashley Clark Is going to run 30 miles… yes THIRTY MILES in November. She needs sponsorship. Sponsorship Tickets for that are $5 each and will be donated to Full Plate Project too.

There are a group of young ladies, lead by Brianna Smith, that want to have a 5k at the end of the summer.

Proceeds will also benefit Full Plates
