Decoding Depot, LLC

📚✨ Back to school + a little “Meet the Tutor!” ✨📚

With a new school year starting, I thought I’d share a few fun facts about me that you may not know! 😊

I’m Megan, the owner of Decoding Depot, and I truly love what I do. I feel so lucky to spend my days working with students and watching their confidence grow. ❤️

A few fun facts about me…

🏃🏼‍♀️ I love to run! One of my goals is to run a half marathon. Definitely a work in progress, but I’m determined!

🛍️ I love a good thrift find! There’s just something so fun about finding a great piece when you least expect it.

🀄️ I’m also a Mahjong instructor! I started High Country Mahjong this year, and it has been so much fun teaching others how to play and sharing a game that I love.

🐶 We have three dogs: Charlie, Teddy, and Maggie. They are my unofficial office assistants and have been known to make an occasional appearance during lessons! 😂

📚 I’m always learning, too! I love taking courses, attending trainings, and continuing to learn more about literacy and how I can better support my students. I’m currently working toward my Clinical Level Certification through OGA.

☕️📖 A great cup of coffee, a good book, and a little quiet time are some of my favorite things.

And if you’ve worked with me, you probably already know this one…

❤️ I love celebrating the little wins! Seeing a student figure something out, gain confidence, or realize they can do something they once thought was too hard never gets old.

I’m looking forward to another school year and all of the growth, hard work, and progress that comes with it! 📖✨

Honored to have been selected as a beta tester for 𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧’s online Morphology course! 💙

My love for RCF runs deep because I truly would not be where I am today without the incredible education, mentorship, and encouragement I’ve received through this organization.

I originally took this course in person in Fall 2024, and I can honestly say the online version was just as outstanding. It was engaging, practical, thorough, and exceptionally well done.

One of the things I love most about continuing education is realizing there is always more to learn. Even when you feel confident in a topic, there’s always another layer of understanding waiting to be uncovered. Every training deepens my knowledge, strengthens my practice, and ultimately helps me better serve my students. That’s what makes this work so meaningful.

Thank you, RCF, for trusting me to be part of this process. It was an honor, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and growing.

Three years. 💜

Today, Decoding Depot turns three, and it’s hard to believe how much has happened since I took a leap of faith and started this business.

Over the past three years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of working with amazing students and families, celebrating reading breakthroughs, building confidence, and watching children realize they can become successful readers. There is nothing quite like seeing a child begin to believe in themselves.

To every family who has trusted me with your child, every professional who has referred a student, and every friend who has supported, encouraged, and cheered me on along the way - thank you. Thank you for inviting me into your journey, celebrating the victories alongside me, and allowing me to be a small part of your child’s story. It is a responsibility I never take lightly, and I am so grateful for the trust you’ve placed in me.

These first three years have been more meaningful than I ever could have imagined, and I’m excited to see what the future holds. Here’s to continuing to change lives through literacy, one student at a time. ❤️📚

Happy 3rd Birthday, Decoding Depot!

One of the most humbling parts of running a small business is realizing that opportunities often arrive because someone spoke your name when you weren’t in the room.

Every referral, recommendation, and introduction means more than I can say. Thank you to the families, educators, colleagues, and friends who trust Decoding Depot enough to share it with others. 💛

Your support helps connect students with the specialized instruction they need, and I’m grateful for every single referral.

Summer tutoring often gets thought of as “catch-up,” but it is really one of the most powerful ways to move forward. ✨

Without the pressure of a busy school schedule, students finally have space to slow down and truly understand concepts instead of rushing past them. Skills that felt shaky during the year can be strengthened in a calm, supportive environment, which builds both confidence and independence.

Summer is also the perfect time to close learning gaps before they widen. A little consistent practice now can make a big difference when school starts again in the fall, especially in reading and foundational skills.

Even more importantly, students often rediscover that learning can feel positive and low stress. With the right support, they start to see themselves as capable and successful learners, and that shift carries into everything they do.

Summer tutoring is not about doing more school. It is about building clarity, confidence, and momentum for the year ahead.

If you are thinking about support for your child this summer, I would love to connect and see how we can make that time meaningful for them. 😊

This Memorial Day, Decoding Depot honors and remembers the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

As families enjoy time together and the unofficial start of summer, it’s also a moment to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and dedication that make these freedoms possible.

I am grateful today and always for those who have served and those who continue to serve. ❤️

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

Real families. Real experiences. Real support. Trusted by families across the Treasure Coast and beyond, with 12 five-star Google reviews. 🌟

These kind words truly mean more than I can express.

Decoding Depot was created with a simple but deeply personal purpose: to support children and families with compassion, honesty, and thoughtful guidance during what can often feel like a challenging and uncertain journey. Every lesson, assessment, and progress update is approached with intention and care, because behind every plan is a child who deserves to feel understood, supported, and confident in their learning.

To every family who has shared their trust, encouragement, and kind feedback - thank you. Your words and support are felt deeply and are at the heart of this work. 💛

If you’re a family who is feeling unsure about next steps or simply looking for support on your child’s reading journey, I would be honored to connect with you. Every child’s path is unique, and no family should have to navigate it alone.

Thank you for being here and for allowing Decoding Depot to be part of so many meaningful stories. ✨

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately, but for good reason. 🌿 I’ve been fully focused on working hard with my students and supporting their growth and confidence as we finish out the school year.

It has been such a rewarding stretch filled with steady progress, small wins, and meaningful breakthroughs, and I am so proud of the effort they are putting in each day. ✨

With summer right around the corner, I currently have a limited number of summer tutoring spots available. This is a great opportunity to strengthen skills, fill learning gaps, and build confidence ahead of the next school year.

If you are interested in summer tutoring or would like more information, feel free to reach out. I would love to connect and talk about how I can support your child this summer. 💛

Hello, spring! 🌱✨

A new season brings fresh energy and new chances to grow. Just like flowers start from tiny seeds, every bit of effort in reading and learning helps our kids bloom.

Here’s to curiosity, progress, and celebrating every little win!
